Christopher Mackey

Christopher Jeffrey Mackey of Ely, MN, fomerly of Las Vegas, NV and Virginia, MN - born April 10, 1980 - died September 29, 2017.  

Christopher graduated fom Virginia High School in 1998.   For several years he was employed in the Twin Cities, where he met his wife Angela Stitt.  They were joined in marriage on Oct 6th 2014 and soon after moved to Las Vegas.
Christopher was a hard working man who loved his family and his country.  He found his purpose in life when he met Angela and they built a life together in Las Vegas where they enjoyed spending time with their dog "Peanut".  
Christopher is survived by his mother Susan Mackey, sister Lynn Gregory, Father-in-law Ray Stitt, grandmother Mary Mackey, aunts and uncles: Brian Mackey, Jeff (Shelley) Mackey, Kathy  (Ron) Jenkins and Krissy (Dave) Johnston, cousins John Mackey, Lucas and Lily Mackey, Kaylyn and Kassi Jenkins and Derek, Marissa and Marly Johnston.
Proceeded in death by his cherished wife Angela in July 2017, and grandfather John Mackey. 
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 on Monday October 9th at St Anthony's Church in Ely, MN with a visitation one hour prior to mass at the church.
Burial to take place after luncheon at the Biwabik Township Memorial  Cemetary in Lakeland, MN
