Marley F Kendall

Marley F. Kendall, 80, of Ely, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Boundary Waters Care Center in Ely. 
Marley was born in Ely on March 27, 1936 to Emilia (Stenlund) and Harry Kendall. On December 3, 1964 he was married to Frances Mikolich.
Marley was owner/operator of Kendall Oil for 21 years. He also had been a driver for Northern Transportation and had worked at LTV. 
He served in the military as a U.S. Marine during the Korean War. He was a life member of Ely American Legion, VFW, Virginia Elks. He loved to duck hunt and spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emilia and Harry, and special cousin Francis (Duke) Vranesich.
He is survived by his wife Frances; children: Linda (John) Coan of New Jersey, Marlene (Gary) Nagengast of North Carolina and their daughter Briana of New Jersey, and son Marley Jr. of Minneapolis. A private service is planned.
Memorials are preferred to the Ely Honor Guard.
Family arrangements have been entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely.
