George Miller Obituary

George E. Miller, 89, of Embarrass, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the Ely Bloomenson Community Hospital.
George was born in Brule, Wisconsin on December 16, 1928. He enlisted in the United States Navy at age 17. After his time in the service he went to vocational school in Superior, Wisconsin. He married Shirley Lambert on April 11, 1949 in Superior, Wisconsin. The couple lived in Superior until 1956 when they moved to Babbitt.
George enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
George is survived by Shirley, his wife of 68 years; sons James (Janette) Miller of Rosemount, MN and Joe Miller of Excelsior, MN; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Hazel (Carter) Miller, two sons, Edward and John, a grandson, Corey and one sister, June Miller.
Per George’s request, there will be no formal services.
