Lois Geraldine (MCNEILLY) Stainbrook

Lois G. Stainbrook, 82, of  Babbitt passed away at St. Michael’s Health & Rehab Center in Virginia on June 25th, 2018. She was born on July 29, 1935 in Fargo, ND to Isaac (Ike) and Dena (Anderson) McNeilly. She married Clement Peterson in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1963.  Lois raised three small children as a widow until 1968 when she married Jerry L. Stainbrook.   In 1970 the family moved to Babbitt, MN.  She is survived by their four children: Kerry (Steven) LaFavor, Carl (Leann) Peterson, Brian Peterson, and Jerry D. (Teresa) Stainbrook; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many extended family members. Her only sibling, Elaine Fowler preceded her death.
 
There will be a celebration of life service at Kerntz Funeral Home in Ely at 2pm, July 14th.  Interment will be Grandin, ND at a later date.
