Gladys S. Eilrich

Gladys S. Eilrich passed away on November 21, 2024.

Born in LeSueur, MN Oct. 2, 1931 to August and Mildred Harder. Married Paul Eilrich on Sept. 28, 1950 in Gaylord, MN where She and her husband owned and operated a service station.  In the 60s they started summer family vacations in Ely MN, early 70s they built a summer home and eventually made Ely their permanent home in 1983.  Where they worked at Timber Trail Resort for a number of years.

She is survived by daughter Bonnie Blatchford of Detroit Lakes, MN; son Wayne of Mankato, MN and daughter-in-law Karen Eilrich of Ely. Grandchildren Scott (Jen) Blatchford of Cloquet, Stacy (Chris) Frerich of Cloquet, Chris (Laurie) Eilrich of Ely, Nick Eilrich of Eagle Lake, MN, Robert (Missy) Eilrich of Lonsdale, Timothy (Abbie) Eilrich of Elk River, brother Eldred (Mary Ann) Harder of LeSueur and 14 great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul Eilrich, son James Eilrich and sister Lila Wietzke.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Ely, entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home.
