Gladys Nyman

Gladys E. Nyman, wife of Glen Nyman, of Ely, passed away at the age of 80 on August 15, 2025, at Vermilion Senior Living in Tower, MN.

Gladys was the daughter of Ervin and Ethel (Bjorklund) Elisevson. She was born in Little Falls, MN. As an infant, her parents relocated to the Brainerd area, where her father was employed at the Northwest Papermill. Gladys was a graduate of Brainerd High School. She was the seventh child in a family of 10 children, many of them have passed on before her.

Gladys is survived by her husband Glen, her son Loren Warner, and two daughters, Connie Ware and Kay Richards, along with eight grandchildren. At her request, there will be no services. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Family arrangements have been entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely.
