His interests included his family, his life-long friends including the Hide-A-Way crew, his dogs Lacey and Gizzy, hunting, bowling, motorcycles, 4 wheeler rides, rebuilding cars, and the family reunions at Mille Lacs lake and perfecting his Norwegian Christmas baking. He was an avid live music supporter across the Range. Whatever he was called, he was always known for his smile, chuckle, soft spoken nature, and for being there when someone needed him: Be it at the end of a snowed-in street, or late shift to ensure you were safely to your car, working so families could celebrate the holidays together, as a designated driver, a listening ear, or being a voice for the humane treatment of animals.
