Obituary
Karen Rose (Bengry) Bialik, 79, passed away on March 7, 2023 at the Ely-Bloomenson Community Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born on November 16, 1943 to Milton and Viola Bengry in Stambaugh, Michigan.
She married Les Bialik in 1962. They moved to Ely, Minnesota in 1966. They had three children: Judy, Ron and Curt.
Karen worked in the kitchen at the Ely hospital for 30 years.
She is survived by her children Judy (Dan) Sertich, Ron (Cheryl) Bialik and Curt (LuAnne) Bialik; grandchildren David, Kirsten, Cody, Ben, Zach and Emily; great-grandchildren Tyler and Ryan; sisters Janet and Marion and brother Jerry.
She was preceded in death by her husband Les in 2012; brothers Bob and Pete.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the Winton Community Center from 1-4 p.m. on Friday, March 10.
Family arrangements have been entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely.
