MARK LEUSTEK

Mark Leustek, 53, born in Ely to Cissy and the late Harold Leustek, died in Ely on January 30, 2023. 

Mark is survived by his mother Cissy, brother Aaran (Vicki), Aaran’s children, Nathan (Ashley), their son Ronan and baby girl due in three weeks, Nicolette, Patrick, and Preston (Kristine). Aunts: Candy, Geraldine, Patsy and Mary. Uncles: Tim and Joe Thompson; numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Harold and his grandparents. 

Mark loved spending time talking with anyone who would listen, until a brain stem injury took away his ability to talk. Then his favorite word was NO. Mark’s family wishes to thank the RSI staff and residents who cared for Mark for the last 20 years. 

Mark’s Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ely on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 11 a.m.
