Peter Lilek

Peter P. Lilek died on July 22, 2024 at Boundary Waters Care Center in Ely.

Peter was born on January 8, 1931 to Peter and Frances Lilek in Ely. He served in the Air Force for four years and worked at Reserve Mining for thirty years. He enjoyed his trips to Las Vegas for many years, and was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and the American Legion.

Peter was preceded in death by sisters Mary Lobe of Ely and South St Paul, and Frances Anthonsen of Cottage Grove, MN. He is survived by nieces and nephews.

The burial will be held on September 21 at 11:00 am at the Ely Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely.
