Stephen Fredrick Urman

Stephen (Steve) Urman, 69, passed away at his home on March 14, 2023 with his family at his side.

Steve was an active, well known member of the Ely community in his occupation as an electrical contractor for Ely Electric. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.

He will be loved and missed by all and will never be forgotten.

Steve fought a strong battle with cancer, never giving up.

Steve is survived by his children and grandchildren: Angela (Kareem) Corpening and Kathleen, Merrick and Kainaan; Nicole (Matthew)Collins and Bailey, Brooke, Madelyn and Morgan; Betsy (Brian) Forsberg and Blake, Preston and Courtney; Luke (Robin) Urman and Bianca, Quintin, Ashley and Rachel; great-grandson Atlas; siblings Mary (Wayne) Bear; Janet (Tom) Wood, Tim (Kathy) Urman, Dan (Kris) Urman, Mike (Jackie) Urman, Lori (Mike) McGrath, Karen (Joe) Salo, Todd (Jodie) Urman, Dave (Lacy) Urman and Jon (Missy) Urman.

He was preceded by his wife Suzette Urman, parents Leo and Lenore Urman and brother Gerry Urman.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Ely.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home.
