Bill and I met Char by way of her daughter and my good friend, Renee when she was living in California. She was a pistol! And a generous hostess. Our mutual friend, Sheila Whitney and I would like to make a donation to the DAV Minnesota Branch in memory of Charlotte. Our sympathy goes to the her family and friends.

I met Char just before she married my big brother Richard. I thought she was lovely and her laugh was infectious! She was a gifted story teller as well. I remember one story in particular about a wild rice harvest that was not Char's favorite outing but she put a hilarious spin on it anyway. I will honor her wish to support the DAV Minnesota Chapter. My condolences to her extended family.
