Liz was a wonderful person. My father, Joseph, grew up in Ely. And visiting Ely, on my last Sabbatical, allowed me to see how nice she kept her home. I will never forget going to the Strawberry Festival. It was very comfortable staying there. And Liz will be missed.

I was sorry to hear about Liz's passing. She was a very special and close friend of my parents, Rose (Lanfranchi) and Albin Kotchevar who also grew up in Ely. Seeing her every summer when we came to Ely to spend time with my grandparents started back in the 50's and continued through last summer. We will miss visiting her. May God bless Liz and her family.
