My sympathy to you on the death of your mom. I was your mom's cousin. My dad was your grandma Martha's brother. His name was Sherman Johnson.
I live in Pine River, Mn and will not be able to make it to Northwood on Saturday but want you to know I will be thinking of you.

Sympathy to you all. Jean was so pretty and always looked like the 50" model in ads.I used to look thru magazine pages to see If I could spot her. I was about 8 when I saw her smoking. That was cool! I had never seen a lady smoke. I am pretty sure she may have given that up. When we went to her house she always made Koolaide and
doughnuts! Martin and Jeans yard had the most beautiful flower gardens and veggies that they shared. When LuAnn was born the excitement started. Martin was so proud of his girl, he ran around and showed her to everybody while Jean watched with a big grin. Jean was quiet, a listener. behind that facade was a troubled lady. She lived that life for many years. After a surgery She became a new Jean. Fun,loving her grandkids and greatgrandkids.......and speaking her thoughts not keeping them in! I did not see that Jean, I wish I would have. But I still have a great memory of me pushing LuAnn in a baby buggy both parent watching so I went slow in their site and soon as I was out of sight I ran with that buggy and LuAnn had a big grin on her face. Take care Luann, You are always in my thoughts and prayer...........Just think Martin and jean together again, He will be so happy! See you in June.
