Judy taught me my grandfather's Ojibwe language for 1 year. I will be forever greatful for that gift. Gigawaabamin naagaach ishpeming. Peace and cherish the memories that will sustain you through the grief.

Aaniin, I am sorry to hear of Judy's passing. She leaves a lasting legacy of family and heartfelt gifts to the people who were lucky enough to know her. Her path led so many. She was a teacher. Gikinoo'amaagewike gii-aawi. Giga-waabamin naagaj niniij.
